How a Traverse City boutique became a mother-daughter story, and why its next chapter matters.

I built Audrey & Evelyn around a simple belief: women deserve clothes that fit beautifully into their real lives. Pieces that feel comfortable from morning to evening, look feminine without trying too hard, and still feel right long after a trend has passed.

Evelyn grew up alongside that dream. Over the years, she watched me choose pieces, speak with customers, and learn what women actually came back for.

Not whatever happened to be fashionable that month. Pieces they genuinely loved wearing again and again.

For years, I hoped that one day Evelyn would continue what I started.

I never imagined how much that dream would come to mean to me.

Why We’re Here

I’m Audrey, the mother behind Audrey & Evelyn.

I have always believed a good wardrobe should make getting dressed easier, not more complicated. A cardigan you can reach for without thinking. A dress that feels flattering without feeling fussy. Shoes that look beautiful and still feel good after hours of wear.

That is what I wanted this boutique to stand for.

But after a difficult period, I began to wonder whether the boutique I had spent years building would ever become Evelyn’s to continue.

For the first time, the future I had pictured for us no longer felt certain.

Evelyn wasn’t ready to let our story end.

Neither was I.

So instead of walking away, we decided to give Audrey & Evelyn one more real chance.

That is why we opened our Revival Sale.

How We Sell

I have one rule when choosing pieces: they need to earn their place in a woman’s wardrobe.

That means comfort you can actually live in, flattering fits that feel natural, and styles you can reach for season after season. We choose pieces for real days, dinners, weekends, holidays, and everything in between.

When it is time to make room for what comes next, we reduce selected pieces rather than hold onto them indefinitely.

Right now, that means our Revival Sale, with savings of up to 70% off.

Once a Revival Sale piece sells out, I won’t be restocking it during the sale.

Every order helps us move one step closer to the future Evelyn and I have been hoping for.
